FACE 6 Consultancy's main focus lies on the following policy areas of the Commission of the European Union

FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY

This policy area includes aspect such as certification, labelling and standards, health and safety of food including rules regarding packaging, handling and transport. Regional and international agreements also play a major role in this policy area.

AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENTS

AGRICULTURE

This policy area includes various of aspects such as: pollution of soil, water and air. Protection of biodiversity and the preservation and development of natural farming and the CAP (the Common Agricultural Policy). The CAP includes guidelines regarding agriculture and subsidies in certain areas.

RURAL DEVELOPMENTS

Currently there are six common EU priorities when it comes to rural development. They can be found below.
1. Innovation of agricultural sector

2. Creating competitiveness in agriculture and farming

3. Promotion of food chain organisation

4. Improving ecosystems related to agriculture

5. Promotion of low-carbon and climate resilient economy

6. Preventing poverty in rural areas

CHEMICAL SAFETY

Food additives and aspects such as colouring and flavouring play an important role in this policy area. This policy area includes legislation regarding chemicals and pollutants.
