DowDuPont is an American company formed after the merger of Dow Chemical, DuPont and Corteva agriscience. Corteva agriscience is responsible for agriculture, Dow is responsible for the materials science and DuPont is in charge of the speciality products. DowDuPont is currently the largest chemical company regarding sales.

Dow- Objectives
One of the main objectives from DOW is to increase the well-being of humanity in a sustainable manner. DOW has created a set of goals to be accomplished at the end of 2025. They include aspects such as maintaining a positions as one of the world leading operations performance in natural resource efficiency, environment, health and safety. Another goal is keep on delivering breakthrough sustainable innovations in sectors such as chemistry, which will positively influence the lives of humanity. In addition, DOW wants to facilitate the world’s transition to a circular economy using redesigned business models and systems. Via that way, products that are normally considered as waste can be remade in to new products and services.
DOW considers a sustainable environment and the protection of ecosystems as one of their main goals, including the promotion of product safety and transparency to their clients. In the end the companies goals are to create strategies for a sustainable planet, keeping in mind the integration of public policy, science, technology and culture.

Du Pont is a science company. The company has various objectives in three different areas. These are food, energy and protection.

Food: Their main goal is to reduce the amount of people who are suffering from hunger. Du Pont therefore allocates 60% of their research money to get food to more people around the world.

 

Energy: Everyday Du Pont works on global energy solutions that will result in a brighter future. With the help of extensive knowledge and experience in fields such as microbiology and fermentation the company’s objective is to produce cars that are lighter with cleaner fuels and sustainable energy sources such as the sun.

Protection: Du Pont’s main goal is to protect the earth, its inhabitants and the environment. With the help from different companies Du Pont will try to come up with sustainable solutions.

Corteva agriscience- Objectives
Corteva is the agricultural division of DowDuPont.

 

Corteva’s main objective is to contribute to the needs of a growing amount of people regarding the increasing demand for agricultural seeds and crops. Corteva expects to become one of the leading agricultural companies in the world and is therefore working together with stakeholders in the food business to come up with strategies in order to innovate and transform the agricultural systems.
